Overriding or Reassigning an Email Entry

Sometimes an email might be miscategorized or assigned to the wrong matter. You can easily override any entry directly from your dashboard.

How to Reassign a Time Entry:

  1. Go to your Billing Dashboard
  2. Locate the entry using filters or search
  3. Click the Reassign button
  4. Choose the correct matter from the dropdown
  5. Click Save

That entry is now updated—and Tempello learns from the correction for better accuracy next time.

A bulk editing tool will allow you to reassign multiple emails at once based on filters like sender, subject, or date.
